Case study
What is actually on your lot?
A parts, machines, work-order and receiving platform running a John Deere dealership in southwest Kansas. It replaced a master spreadsheet, a parts binder and a lot of walking. The first thing it did was tell the store what its own books had wrong.
What the books had wrong
Every dealer has three versions of the truth: the dealer system, the spreadsheet, and the lot. The platform reads all three and reports where they disagree. This is what one store found in its first month.
33
machines that had never arrived
were showing as available. Bought, in transit, and already for sale on paper.
7
sell-twice risks
sold in the dealer system, still marked available on the lot list.
63
incoming units missing from the books
pending in the dealer system, never entered on the master sheet.
118
available units advertised nowhere
on the lot, not on the website, not on any listing service.
What it runs
Parts
Every part number, bin, on-hand and pending count. Scan a barcode at the counter and the part is on screen.
Machines
Whole-unit inventory with a status ladder that means something: available, in transit, on hold, rented, swapped, sold. Photos, pricing, history.
Work orders & pull tickets
Technicians pull parts against a work order from a phone; the counter sees it before the tech walks up.
Receiving & purchasing
Purchase orders, received shipments, returns queue. Photograph a packing slip and the line items are read for you.
Listings
Exports shaped for TractorHouse and MachineFinder, photo galleries pulled automatically, and a window tag that opens the unit’s own page.
The dealer system, bridged
Reads the store’s existing DMS so status and price follow the paperwork instead of a retyped spreadsheet.
How it is built
One server, one database, installed as an app on every phone and kiosk in the store. It runs on hardware the dealer owns, behind the store's own sign-in, with no per-seat licence and nothing sent to a third party. The store keeps its spreadsheet and its dealer system; the platform reads them and never deletes.
